Inexchange strengthens its position in Iceland

Inexchange Sweden, headquartered in Skövde and Östersund and owned by Visma, has now taken over full ownership of its previously jointly operated company in Iceland

Inexchange ehf. has had shared ownership between Inexchange Factorum AB and Hins íslenska kraftaverkafélags ehf. since 2010. Now the next step begins. Visma is now the sole owner of Inexchange ehf, which will become part of Inexchange Factorum AB. The deal took effect on November 1.
The move to step out internationally and, in addition to Skövde and Östersund, take over full responsibility for companies and offices in Iceland opens up interesting perspectives.
- With 100 percent ownership, we can now significantly increase our presence and range of services in Iceland. This gives us the opportunity to gain further market share and offer our customers even better solutions," says Ola Widegren, CEO of Inexchange.

Inexchange ehf. serves around 1,500 customers in Iceland and is the leader in the Icelandic market for electronic invoices.
"As part of a larger company, we will be stronger and have more resources. This will benefit our customers," says Gunnar Bjarnason, former CEO of Inexchange ehf, who, together with other employees in Iceland, will continue with the company after the deal.

Simon Strandell, Business Manager at Inexchange, emphasizes the exciting prospects that the transformation creates:
"Thanks to the change, we can now use digital sales and, in the long term, offer Icelandic customers a wider range of products.
