Positive step
Beyond this, there's only one thing to remember. That is to notify your Peppol ID to Swedish Customs. In order for Swedish Customs to send you customs invoices via Peppol, they need this ID. You can find information on how to make the notification on the Swedish Customs website (see link below).
But apart from the fact that the Swedish Customs' announcement was made at relatively short notice, and that their information can be difficult to understand, Niklas believes that the step taken by the authority is positive.
"As the country's largest access point in Peppol, we naturally advocate even greater flows via that infrastructure. This is also one of the reasons why Peppol is always included in our services", he says, emphasizing:
"The fact that even more of our customers will be able to handle the Swedish Customs' settlements electronically, and do the same with invoices from other suppliers, is obviously welcome. It is a development that is in line with the digital expansion in general, but above all it benefits the customer with all the benefits that come with e-invoices."
