"We liked the overall solution"
How do you gradually build up your electronic invoicing?
What are the benefits of digital management?
The answers to these and many other questions are provided by the finance department at Skandia Fastigheter in the new company case that is now available on our special reference page.
By clicking on the link www.inexchange.se/upptack/kundcase/ you will end up on the collection page for our reference cases. There, a number of companies and organizations talk about their collaboration with InExchange, the services they have implemented, the benefits they have gained from it and how the integration has worked overall. Sometimes it can feel a bit scary to abandon familiar routines and dress up your work in a new digital outfit. In this situation, it can be valuable to listen to others' experiences. Many industries are represented in the cases. A number of ideas in the articles touch on the concerns and questions that sometimes exist in advance.
The latest addition to the list of references is Skandia Fastigheter. It is a company with 122 properties - or 1.1 million square meters - mainly located in the three metropolitan regions.
Five years ago, Skandia Fastigheter signed its first contract with InExchange. That contract was for a receiving service. Since then, the company's electronic invoicing has also been expanded to include exhibitor services, and it has also changed its invoice format to the Peppol BIS Billing 3 standard.
In other words, digitization has taken place in stages. This is something that Skandia Fastigheter brought to the collaboration right from the start. Their initial idea was to develop an electronic expansion over time.
Eva Englund, who is in charge of supplier invoices, states in the article:
- InExchange had a good package to offer and good references. Their concept was something that could be developed further, which made it interesting. We liked the overall solution.
It is Eva, Ingela Nilsson, accounting manager, and Monica Mellbing, responsible for accounts receivable, who you meet in the newly published report. The trio discuss various aspects of the transition to e-invoicing that they have actively participated in through their project management roles.
Monica Mellbing, for example, remembers back to last year when the law on mandatory e-invoicing in public procurement was introduced. "The legal requirement gave a boost to a lot of people who were still relying on outdated solutions. The real estate sector was no exception.
- I know that other real estate companies experienced some difficulties before a solution to send e-invoices was in place. They were in the same position as us, having to send e-invoices to the authorities. But for us, who had InExchange as a supplier, it worked smoothly. A very good routine was set up for us," she says.
