Easy service to connect new customers

Elis Textil Service AB has been working actively for many years to increase the proportion of electronic invoices and e-commerce solutions. Through the collaboration with Inexchange, they have found a partner with a quick and easy solution for connecting new recipients for e-invoices.


Karin Thelander, system manager for EDI at Elis Textil Service AB, believes that it is above all Inexchange's portal solution with its clear interface and smooth handling that has made a difference.
"Inexchange is our single largest operator for e-invoices. The collaboration goes back a long way and when Elis in recent years analyzed its EDI environment to reduce the number of formats and operators, it decided to continue with InExchange and also expand the collaboration. Today, we move as much of our e-invoice flows as possible to Inexchange", Karin explains.


Security and efficiency

Thanks to the simplicity of connecting new customers, it is easy for Elis to connect new recipients, and there are no requirements for specialist expertise.
"Since Elis' business model for renting out all kinds of textiles means that customers are in several different segments and of varying sizes, it becomes extra crucial to be able to connect new customers quickly."
The e-invoice has many strengths. Two strong values are that it creates efficiency and tracking possibilities.
"E-invoices are often sent based on customer requirements or requests, but it also creates security and efficiency in the invoice flow. Logging provides proof that the invoice has been sent and reached the customer. Compared to PDF invoices via email, there is not the same speed of delivery or ability to track the invoice."

Motivated to save paper

Karin also emphasizes another important point.
"If you want to get started with e-invoicing, it's important to choose an established operator that keeps up with developments and stays up-to-date. For example, when large organizations change operators, these changes should take place automatically, as a customer you should not have to worry, but the invoice should arrive in short order."
The sustainability aspect is also not to be forgotten. Sustainability is at the heart of Elis. Their business was the first in Sweden to be certified in line with the UN's "Global Goals for Sustainable Development" program.
It would feel contradictory to mail a lot of paper and envelopes.
"Getting rid of as many paper invoices as possible has been a motivating factor from the start. The goal is to eventually connect all types of messages and transactions in electronic flows."
